1. What is Outhold?

Outhold is a modern hybrid of Tower Defense and Action-Roguelite.

Instead of just surviving a single map, the game focuses on a cycle of "Play, Die, Upgrade." It combines the strategic satisfaction of building mazes of turrets with the addictive loop of an RPG. You don't just restart when you lose; you come back permanently stronger.

2. How to Play

The game runs on a simple 3-step loop:

Step 1: Build & Defend ( The Active Phase)

• Place Towers: Set up your defenses to stop waves of enemies from reaching your base.
• Active Economy: Unlike passive TD games, you must move your cursor to collect Gold dropped by enemies.
• The "Coin Cannon": In emergencies, you can shoot your collected gold at enemies to deal damage. You have to decide: Save money for upgrades, or shoot money to survive?

• The Skill Tree: When your base is destroyed, the game isn't over. Use the points earned during your run to buy nodes in a massive Skill Tree.
• Permanent Upgrades: Unlock passive income, stronger towers, or new game mechanics.
• Free Respec: You can reset your Skill Tree for free at any time. If a strategy isn't working, wipe your skills and try a completely different build for the next round.
